The Coca‑Cola Company and The Coca‑Cola Foundation Join with the National Park Foundation to Support the 2015 White House Easter Egg Roll
04-06-2015
WASHINGTON (APRIL 2, 2015) The Coca‑Cola Company and The Coca‑Cola Foundation announced today that they will contribute to the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, to support the 2015 White House Easter Egg Roll.
The White House Easter Egg Roll takes place in President’s Park on the South Lawn of the White House. This year’s theme, “#GimmeFive,” encourages Americans across the country to share five things they are doing to eat better, be more active, and lead a healthier life, and supports the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative to help kids grow up healthy and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
In support of this year’s theme, there will be a Coca‑Cola Troops for Fitness activation. Made possible through a grant from The Coca‑Cola Foundation to National Recreation and Park Association, Coca‑Cola Troops for Fitness (CCTFF) is a military boot camp-style fitness program taught by US military veterans. CCTFF helps demonstrate the commitment of The Coca‑Cola Foundation and The Coca‑Cola Company to promote balanced living, support veteran employment recruitment, and partner with local communities to create a meaningful impact on obesity.
In addition, the official White House Easter Eggs, sold by the National Park Foundation and benefiting America’s national parks, are available at easter.nationalparks.org.
